Spotlight Awards 2020

Two of my photographs have been short-listed in the final 10 for the ‘Architecture & Interiors Spotlight Award 2020’. They come from disparate parts of my photography practice.

The first was shot as part of a commercial assignment in Seattle and shows the Residents Lounge in ‘Arrivé Apartments’ a luxury residential development above ‘The Sound Hotel’ in Belltown.

The second is a view of the Tokyo Storm Drain shot as part of my ongoing project on ‘Water and Civilisation’. During cyclones this vast complex stops Tokyo from flooding - siphoning water from the city streets and gradually easing it back into the rivers further down stream.
